  • FRIENDS ACROSS THE SEA

    The CTC communities are connecting youth, young adults and professionals through ongoing programs and conferences. 400 students at 8 elementary schools in northern Israel are learning about their Canadian ‘Friends Across the Sea’. 100 students at 5 highs chools took part in 4 mifgashim as part of twinning programs. 20 students from Kiryat Shmona & Vancouver took part in a dance group Mifgash.
    3 Israelis are enhancing the Vancouver community as ‘shinshinim’ (young emissaries).

  • ISRAEL ENGAGEMENT INITIATIVE (IEI)

    Fostering connections with modern Israel, Jewish Identity and Jewish Peoplehood: Through unique targeted programming for audiences of all ages, IEI provides members of the Montreal Jewish community with opportunities to feel and experience a smarter, more intellectual and interesting Israel. It was spearheaded by two community shlichim (emissaries) and is facilitated by four shinshiniot (young emissaries) .

  • DILLER FELLOWSHIPS

    UJA of Greater Toronto & Federation CJA are building strong and living bridges between youth in Canada & Israel:
    80 teenagers (from Toronto & Eilat/Eilot and Montreal & Beersheva/Bnei Shimon) are learning valuable skills and developing meaningful connections as fellows in the Diller Teen Fellowship Leadership Program. The intensive year-long program includes a 10 day seminar in Canada and a three week experience in Israel. Fellows are engaged in community action projects throughout the year.
