  • Young Leadership Cabinet Retreat

    13 Canadians attended the annual JFNA Young Leadership Cabinet Retreat in Denver, Colorado. Young leaders from communities across North America shared knowledge, ideas and best practices at the JFNA Young Leadership Cabinet Retreat in August. As change agents for building a strong and vibrant Jewish world, they improved their capacity as community leaders to enhance their impact within local and international organizations.

    Four Canadians (Edmonton, Toronto, Ottawa, Vancouver) attended The Julia Koschitzky Seminar for Keren Hayesod – UIA Young Leadership in Israel. In between site visits and leadership sessions, participants attended the Keren Hayesod-UIA 2015 Annual World Conference Opening Gala Dinner and met with Israeli dignitaries, among them Reuven Rivlin, President of Israel; Ambasador Ron Prosor, former Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations; and Greg Masel, Director General, Keren Hayesod-UIA.

  • Birthright Israel Celebrates 30,000 participants

    On June 19th in Jerusalem, JFC-UIA & Canada Israel Experience celebrated the 30,000th Canadian Birthright Israel participant, Jessica Swan.
