Canadian Jewish communities provide financial assistance to the Venezuela

 
July 19, 2019 (Toronto, ON) – This week, Jewish Federations of Canada – UIA announced that it has pledged $18,000 in support of the Venezuelan Jewish community. The funds will be drawn from the Bernard Mandell Fund and will be distributed through the JDC and the Jewish Agency for Israel.  They will be allocated towards: 
• Food Distribution
• Medical supplies
• The Hebraic Jewish Center in Caracas

• $15,000 Pittsburg Federation for the Community Resiliency Fund (2018)
• $15,000 Los Angeles Federation for the rebuilding of the destroyed Jewish summer camps and Jewish Day School (Wildfires 2018)
