Strengthening Jewish Identity 
In 2016, Canada Israel Experience customized a Birthright Israel experience for nine participants with physical and cognitive abilities.
Since 1988, over 10,000 Canadians have emerged from the March of the Living with a  stronger identity and a clearer understanding of what it means to be Jewish.

 When 8-year-old Itzik first met Shimrit, his mentor, he was so shy he could barely look her in the eye. But after three years of working closely with her, Itzik's confidence grew tremendously. He's now active in school, and much more willing to reach out to family and new friends.

JAFI inspires Jewish life, helps people in need, and strengthens the global Jewish community. Together with donors and partners around the world, JAFI bring Jews to Israel, and Israel to Jews. Jewish life in the FSU and Central Europe is revitalized as the  the next generation becomes empowered.

Advocating and Educating
Jewish Learning Brought to Life
Over 250 families in communities across Ontario and the Atlantic are able to explore the timeless core values of Judaism through complementary books and music provided by the PJ Library.
JFC-UIA supports CIJA and the values that we as a Jewish people hold dear.
 Freedom. Human Rights. Social justice.
CIJA lay leaders and staff engage with government, media and campus on the issues that matter most.
 
 
 
New olim from France- July 2015
In 2015, the Jewish Agency coordinated the aliyah process for 29,500 immigrants from 97 countries.
 
'Today, I'm proud to say that Israel is my home and my country. With the help of federation, I have made 
aliyah and can finally be a Jew without fear. But there are so many others who cannot. Which is why I'm also so grateful for Federation's continued support.    
Carole Sebbah Tells Her Story
Today, JDC works in more than 70 countries and in Israel to alleviate hunger and hardship, rescue Jews in danger, create lasting connections to Jewish life, and provide immediate relief and long-term development support for victims of natural and man-made disasters.

The JDC also revitalizes Jewish life by developing the community infrastructure, leadership, and educational resources necessary to ensure a Jewish future.
